London Underground - 'Connect'

As subcontractors to Fluor Engineering, Optilan provided optical fibre cable JTT (Joint, Termination and Test) services for the ‘Connect’ Project Corporate Hub.

This involves optical fusion splicing and test covering in excess of 80 stations and control rooms on the District, Metropolitan, Northern, Bakerloo and Victoria Lines.

Optilan has substantial experience working on the London Underground, through a number of Prime Contractors and End Users as a function of maintaining and supporting both LUL’s own fibre and fibre owned by telecommunications networks which make use of LUL infrastructure.
