Optilan has operated almost since its foundation as a contractor to the National Grid for the provision of fibre commissioning services, including critical response against SLAs and planned and routine maintenance, throughout England and Wales. The company provides similar services to a number of Telecommunications Network Operators.

We also undertake OHL Refurbishment/Replacement projects for telecommunications customer utilizing Power Utilities infrastructure, providing full turnkey solutions from Asset and Fibre Network Assessment to the planning, supply, installation and commissioning of complete new sections of optical OPGW or Wrap including Project Management and Documentation Services.
